The Honorable La Zette C. Ringgold-Kirksey is an Associate Judge for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Governor Larry Hogan designated her on April 20, 2022, and her tenure began on May 11, 2022.
Before becoming a Judge, Judge Ringgold-Kirksey was a prosecutor at the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City for over 16 years. As a prosecutor, she rose through the ranks of the Juvenile, Narcotics, General Felony, and Gun Violence Enforcement Divisions. She also prosecuted several homicide cases. She completed her career as a prosecutor as Division Chief of the Gun Violence Enforcement Division.
LaZette Ringgold-Kirksey is a judge of the Maryland 8th Circuit Court Baltimore City. Ringgold-Kirksey assumed office on April 20, 2022. Ringgold-Kirksey’s current term ends in 2024.
