These are democratic countries based on how their government is formed, and these countries allegedly give dignity to their people.
The Constitution formed our government to protect ALL men. According to the Declaration of Independence, each individual is entitled to the pursuit of happiness. Our Bill of Rights guarantees us freedoms such as free speech, assembly, and worship.
Freedom is important to culture because it enables, safety, education, innovation, love, empathy, a good value system, and strength of character for the nation.
America is a representative democracy that allows its citizens to vote at ALL levels of government. Laws are created to protect peoples’ rights and freedoms. Our constitution was written to avoid kingship and a corrupt government. Our country requires the separation of governmental powers to ensure checks and balances on the executive and legislative branches of government. Moral issues are measured by the rule of law. Because we are a free country, we have the right to protest.
All democratic countries allow some form of elections. Democracy can almost be like dictatorships or truly active (political). In the US, citizens can openly disagree with the government without violation or persecution. US laws regulate wrong and right actions by letting our judicial system determine if the spirit of the laws were violated. Although fair elections are held to elect officials to run the government, officials that commit Constitutional crises are removed. Their transgression(s) violate US principals.
The flags above represent some countries that have democratic governments and are apart of the united nations (UN); a treaty that only permits intergovernmental sovereign state members. There are five original members of the UN: the United States, the United Kingdom, China, and the Soviet Union ( Russia). Now it encompasses 193 members.
Below is a chart that illustrates the type of democracy exercised in the countries (states) noted above.
Keywords:
Representative – Congress (House and/or Senate) elected by voters to represent them in government

Although some of these governments are formed like representative democracies, the most powerful positions held are not elected by the people. However, intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) members (UN members) are countries that should be of a peaceful nature and treat its citizens with respect. Their citizens should expect to satisfy economic, safety, education, health, and security needs.
NATO (North America Treaty Organization) is an international security council. According to the treaty, if one member gets attacked, all members are attacked. In other words, when one goes to war, all members go to war. It includes 30 member countries: the United States, Canada, 27 European countries, and Turkey.
The GROUP of Eight (G8) includes countries who consider their government democratic and have a large industrial economy. As of 2012, the combined GDP of these countries accounts for 50.1% of the world’s wealth, owing to 40.9% of its assets. The original G8 includes the United States, Japan, Russia, Canada, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France. It is now the G7 because of the exile of Russia. In 2014, Russia invaded Ukraine and took control of Crimea.
Democracy has been under attack by non-democratic countries for decades. If there was no democratic government in the US, we could be at war or fleeing from ternary; citizens would live as the government would want and not contribute to the good of society. Also, only a selected few would live with wealth while the others have nothing unless the government allows it. In summary, Americans would live for the government and not for themselves.
So many leaders have led marches and spoke out against civil rights violations. Freedom encompasses the pursuit of happiness. Government by the people and for the people. Furthermore, no one (including the government) should intrude into the life of another just for the sake of it. People of all countries want…
FREEDOM!!!
