Donald E. Beachley is the nonpartisan judge of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals At-large. Beachley is running for retention in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Donald E. Beachley is a judge on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. He was appointed to the court on June 1, 2016, by Republican Governor Larry Hogan to succeed retired Judge Robert Zarnoch.[1] His current term ends in 2018.
Judge Beachley must stand for retention by voters in 2018 in order to remain on the bench.
Beachley was previously a judge on the Fourth Circuit Court for Washington County in Maryland.[2] He has served as a judge on the court since December 29, 1997.[3][4]Beachley was re-elected to the Fourth Circuit Court in 2014, winning a new term that would have expired on December 31, 2029.[5][6
