21st Century Coup

ANTI-DEMOCRACY

Update: As of 8/14/2023 Trump and 19 defendants have been charged with Rico (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) in Georgia state. Trump is the kingpin of this corrupt organization to overturn the 2020 election!

The 21st-century coup was a conspiracy committed by a corrupt enterprise, Prosecuted under Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO)!

It involves 5 stages:

      • Fake electors,
      • Pressure campaign refers to the president calling some governors to overturn votes and telling the V.P. to replace delegates in 7 swing states with fake electors.
      • Misinformation/Lies. Amplified by the president, his lawyer, his allies, FOXNews*, television, radio, newspapers, the Internet, and super PACs,
      • Throwing out legitimate votes,
      • Violence and Murder.

Update on 8/1/2023: The former president, Donald J. Trump, has been indicted for interfering with American voting. His goal was to replace democracy with kingship–dictatorship.

Summary

The domestic terrorists and “Mega” Republicans are anti-democracy Americans who want our country to be a totalitarian nation with a fascist attitude.

To accomplish their goal they run for elected offices (local, state, school board, and federal) on a platform of hate, violence, and lies (culture wars). When Trump lost the presidency, he incited a coup. To the fascists, the coup never happened. The Republicans said that the insurrectionists were peaceful protesters, patriots, or tourists.
Political violence is exercised when the Republicans get mad at Democrats or they don’t like something or someone. Because they didn’t like the Speaker, her husband was attacked in his home. This 82-years old grandfather had his skull cracked with a hammer. The 42-year-old attacker came there to kidnap his wife and break her knees.
These election DENIERS or anti-democracy Americans passed state laws that made it legal to eliminate/overturn some votes or give voting rights to state officials, only.
Some Conservatives on the Supreme Court lied at their confirmation hearing about keeping abortion legal. Although most Americans wanted to keep abortion rights, the court banned them.

The 1st coup attempt failed due to the action of a few good people. The coup’s mission was to overthrow the government, get rid of democracy, and instill totalitarianism. The multifaceted plot revealed the vulnerability of our democratic systems.

Therefore, get off the misinformation train and reject lies that can be corrected by real news outlets because our Democracy may not be so lucky the next time.

DO NOT VOTE FOR ELECTION DENIERS!

Update: Trump’s plan to takeover the government was a BETRAYAL!

The coup not only included the mob, it included fake delegates, a pressure campaign, republican congressmen, and the Proud Boys who looked for politicians to kill and who drew a map of the buildings to over take.

The miltia group–Oath Keepers, helped the insurrectionists over run the barriers at the Capitol; brutalize and kill officers. Along with the Proud Boys, they were charged and convicted of Seditious Conspiracy.

The coup’s plan was designed  to intentionally violate laws and remove politicians by any means necessary!

As of 6/14/2022, evidence showed that the former president ordered the death of  the person second in-charge [Vice President Pence] and 3rd in-charge [Nancy Pelosi, vow for Speaker of the House]. Some republicans gave tours to the insurrectionists to help them  find democrats officies.

The president started a pressure campaign against the vice president. He wanted Mike Pence to not certify the votes of the people to overturn the election. Pence certified the votes and Trump turned the mob on him; they chanted “Hang Mike Pence.”

Also, to ensure that Trump remain in power his lawyers desementated a plan to replace Biden delegates with Trump’s by having Trump’s delegates sign fake certs in seven swing states that Biden won. They sent these certs to Washington DC to be certified by Mike Pence; however, the National Archives knew they were fake and didn’t forward them to the VP.

To remain in power Trump violated laws and planned a government takeover with white supremacist groups, anti-government groups, militia groups, and other hate groups.

Events of January 6, 2023

The Proud Boys arrived at DC prior to the “Stop the Steal” rally to case the Capitol. They were looking for points of entry–places with weak security.

The attendees at the rally had guns including the AR15 and were sent to the Capitol; they surrounded the building and waited for hours behind the barriers. The Proud Boys removed the barriers and the insurrectionists rushed in.

Trump wanted to make the USA an authorian state by taking over the govvernment violently.

Trump sent a mob to the capitol to aid in his coup with the hate groups.

Update: On the coup’s one year anniversary [1/6/2022], only 765 insurrectionists out of the mob have been indicted as rioters and received light sentences. The planners of the coup have not been indicted.

Some of the Insurrectionists Sentences

The first insurrection occurred during the 19th century between the British and USA. Now it’s Americans against Americans!

The War of 1812 occurred because of British attempts to restrict U.S. trade, the Royal Navy’s impressment of American seamen, and America’s desire to expand its territory.

During the War of 1812, the British were urged to attack the former colonies after American troops attacked Canada and burned government buildings. Washington was picked as the target because of its symbolic importance, its easy access from the sea, and the inability of inexperienced American troops to defend it.

On August 24, 1814, as the War of 1812 raged on, invading British troops marched into Washington and set fire to the U.S. Capitol, the President’s Mansion, and other local landmarks. The ensuing fire reduced all but one of the capital city’s major public buildings to smoking rubble, and only a torrential rainstorm saved the Capitol from complete destruction.
Today,

On January 6, 2021, insurrectionists were attendees at the ‘Stop the Steal’ rally which was organized by President Trump to overturn the results of the election. Trump’s desire to remain in power prompted the coup.

Republican statehouses pass restrictive laws to make it harder for poor, blacks, Latinx, disabled, and young people to vote. They put only or few drop boxes in the black district. Through gerrymandering, representatives for black and brown people have been reduced. For instance, Hispanics make up 95% of the population growth in Texas, they are disenfranchised because they have no representation.

The mail-in ballots caused the 2020 election to have a high turnout. Biden received the largest electoral in a pandemic and the Republicans felt they would never win again, so they passed laws making the statehouse responsible for the vote count,  not the State Secretary. Also, they can void counting votes, certifying the winner they want.

In Texas, they abolished abortion laws by replacing Roe vs. Wade with vigilante rights. In other words, they went around Roe vs Wade by limiting abortion rights to six weeks regardless of health issues, rape, or incest. Also, the law allows anyone to sue for $10K a doctor, Uber driver, etc. who helps a pregnant woman.

Stop the Steal Rally

Donald Trump sues to keep US Capitol attack records secret | South China Morning Post
Trump influences the crowd to storm the Capitol. at the Stop Steal rally located at Ellipse, park. It is sometimes referred to as President’s Park South, is a 52-acre (21 ha) park south of the White House fence and north of Constitution Avenue,

His rally was designed to inflame the crowd. His presenters included an array of liars and anti-democratic characters who used words such as “Combat”, “Marshal law”, and “Fight like hell….”

Trump consistently lied about the winner of the 2020 Presidential election. He wanted his supporters to believe that the election was rigged and that Biden won with fraudulent votes. THE ELECTION WAS NOT STOLEN BECAUSE OF FRAUD!

DISINFORMATION WAS THE TACTIC. If people lose faith in the election system, We Will Lose Our Democracy because people won’t vote!!!

A coup d’état, usually shortened to a coup, is a seizure and removal of a government and its powers. Typically, it is an illegal, unconstitutional seizure of power by a political faction, military, or dictator. Many scholars consider a coup successful when the usurpers seize and hold power for at least seven days.

The coup was planned within a week from 1/6/2021. It involved ‘Bad Actors’ and anti-democratic people who had Trump’s ear.

The coup was televised and Trump watched with glee. His family members, Chief of staff, conservative talk show hosts, and Republican lawmakers begged him to stop the insurrection. Trump did nothing. He did not approve a call to the reserves to bring order. After 187 minutes, Trump called off the coup.

In addition, Trump and  Rudy Giuliani planned to have fake electoral delegates overturn the 2020 election. Rudy showed the fake delegates from 7 states that Biden won Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, and New Mexico, how the certificates should look, and told them to file them at the congressional library.

VP Mike Pence were to certify the votes of the fake delegates, making President Trump the winner instead of Biden. The coup failed because the VP did not certify the votes of the fake delegates and someone from the congressional library forwarded the false certificates to DOJ.

The House of Representatives formed the 1/6 committee to investigate who and how the insurrection was planned and executed to prevent future insurrections.

Build Back Better the Central Government

  • The central government must exist to ensure our Democracy stays here and abroad. Any policy that discriminates or excludes groups of citizens from voting such as the electoral college must be voided. Voting is the very foundation of our Democracy and processes must be put in place for citizens to access the ballot easier.
  • Any elected official that commits a crime, breaks their oath, misleads their constituents, or endangers the lives of others, must resign from Congress immediately. In other words, the legal process for a speedy removal involves advancing the criminal file to the front of the docket and having a trial within 4 weeks. The lawmaker is suspended from the job until the verdict. If found guilty, resign from the job immediately. If not guilty, resume job position. PRESIDENTS SHOULD FOLLOW THIS PROCESS REGARDLESS OF THEIR CURRENT POSITION!
  • Domestic terrorists must be prosecuted the same as foreign terrorists.  For a safety measure, they should be tracked and monitored by federal and state governments to prevent any future attacks on the Capitol. Any plots that threaten our freedoms should be taken seriously or disrupted.
  • Our government should stimulate economic growth through market competition and the enforcement of anti-trust laws. Our Government should punish and close down any entity that does not protect sensitive data that allow ‘Bad Actors’ to harm us.  however, if the company finds a permeant solution to the loss of sensitive data, it should be punished, but not closed.
  • The Austerity theory was unsuccessful because ‘trickle-down’ economics did not help economic and job growth. Poverty has increased under this theory because the size of our middle-class shrunk. Money became incentivized by the power given to the rich and affluent. The tax code must be rewritten to reduce taxes on people making < $400k. Taxes should be no more than 10%. People making $ 400-$1 million should pay between 11%-13%. People making $1 million or more should pay between 14%-16%.
  • A Supreme Court judge can only hold their position until their retirement age. They cannot be confirmed if they do not accept settled law (e.g. Brown vs Board of Education, Roe vs Wade). Any state law that violates settled law is void.

Next Coup (Nonviolent)

Former President Donald Trump’s anti-democratic campaign to overturn the 2020 election failed. Next time—and there will be a next time—American democracy might not be so lucky

The G.O.P. party has passed several laws and rules to remain in power.

      1. The proliferation of bills restricting ballot access or overturning the results of an election in red states has commanded national attention, it represents just one stream in a torrent of conservative legislation poised to remake the country. GOP-controlled states—including Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, Iowa, and Montana—have advanced their most conservative agenda in years, and one that reflects Donald Trump’s present stamp on the Republican Party. When Texas Republicans scrambled to pass a massive voter suppression bill over Memorial Day weekend, they included a provision written behind closed doors with no public scrutiny that would make it easier for judges to throw out election results
      2. Half a dozen states, including Tennessee, Montana, Iowa, and Texas, have passed legislation allowing gun owners to carry their weapons without a permit.
      3. Texas, South Carolina, Idaho, and Oklahoma have passed legislation banning abortion when a fetal heartbeat can be detected, after about six weeks of pregnancy (before women typically even know they are pregnant); Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas also passed virtually complete bans on abortion. Arizona approved an extremely restrictive bill that includes barring abortions for certain genetic conditions.
      4. Ten states have adopted about two dozen laws in total targeting transgender individuals, including legislation in seven states that bars transgender athletes from competing in school sports. In the U.S., “2021 has officially surpassed 2015 as the worst year for anti-LGBTQ legislation in recent history,” the Human Rights Campaign, an LGBTQ-advocacy group, recently concluded. “States have now enacted more anti-LGBTQ laws this year than in the last three years combined.”
      5. Through mid-May, “14 states have enacted 22 new laws with provisions that make it harder for Americans to vote,” and many other laws are still pending, according to the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University Law School. “At this rate,” the organization wrote, “The United States is on track to far exceed its most recent period of intense legislative activity to restrict the vote—2011.” More red states may join this push: After a walkout by state House Democrats blocked a restrictive Texas voting law this week, Governor Greg Abbott announced that he would call a special session to pass the law later this year.
      6. Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and about half a dozen other states have passed laws stiffening penalties against demonstrators who block traffic or cause property damage, and several of those states have simultaneously provided civil or criminal protection for drivers who hit protesters, according to a tally by the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law.
      7. TennesseeOklahoma, and Texas have barred public schools from teaching “critical race theory,” which focuses on racism as an endemic feature of American history. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is moving to prohibit it through a ruling by the state board of education.
      8. Florida, Georgia, and Texas have all passed laws penalizing local governments that cut funding for their police department. One of the measures approved in Texas stipulates that a county looking to cut police funding must first win voter approval through a referendum—but would apply only to counties with a population of 1 million or more, almost all of which lean Democratic.
      9. Over the past year, several red-state governors have issued executive orders or signed laws barring local governments from mandating the use of face masks or limiting local businesses’ hours of operation; Florida and Tennessee have passed laws barring local governments or businesses from requiring residents to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination. Restrictive voting laws passed in Georgia and proposed in Texas explicitly outlaw measures used to increase voter turnout in the states’ largest cities (Atlanta and Houston, respectively).
