Curious about the world–Growing up

When we were infants, we experienced the world through all of our senses. We did not care about race or religion. We just wanted to be fed, changed, and burped. Playtime taught us to laugh at funny noises and faces, regardless of who was during playtime.

As we got older we made new friends of different races and learned how to think and play differently. We learned that being around diverse people expanded our understanding of how others live and think.

Such riches will be lost if stereotypes are not addressed. This inferior mentality has to be abolished in all communities.

ARRESTED – WHY?

As time went on, we became separate from our thoughts. In other words, we became aware of how some people had negative feelings toward others. We did nothing (guilty).

Instead of being a bystander, make a difference by not associating with people who have negative or hateful feelings toward others. Bring some understanding into their dark world!

Hateful people may not be physically violent, but their attitude is one of dislike towards others due to their belief in stereotypes. Correct them when they use slurs to refer to others (even in public). Address their fears because the unknown will prevent them from doing the right thing, finding a solution to a problem, or losing a superiority complex.

Nobody wants pity, only understanding!
